The series chronicles the journey of Catherine de’ Medici, a fourteen-year-old teenager thrust into the French Valois court with expectations to secure a substantial dowry and produce heirs. Despite numerous obstacles, her lifetime of astute political strategies ultimately enables her to reign as the queen of France for three decades.
The series has been renewed for a second season although the premiere date hasn’t been announced yet. More than likely, season two will be a bit delayed due to the strike entertainment industry.
