“Grown-ish” centers around the character Zoey Johnson, played by Yara Shahidi, who is the eldest daughter of the Johnson family from “Black-ish.” The series follows Zoey as she leaves her family home and embarks on her journey to college at the fictional Cal U. Alongside her diverse group of friends, Zoey navigates the challenges and adventures of young adulthood, including relationships, academics, identity, and personal growth.
