“Outer Banks” is an American television series that premiered on Netflix in April 2020. The show is created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke, and it falls into the genres of teen drama, mystery, and adventure.
The series is set in the coastal town of Outer Banks, North Carolina, and follows a group of working-class teenagers, often referred to as “Pogues,” who reside on the less affluent side of the island. They are in pursuit of answers regarding the disappearance of the father of their charismatic leader, John B. (played by Chase Stokes).
