After season one, “A League of Their Own” was initially renewed for a second and final season. Unfortunately, however, the series has been canceled.
The show, which premiered on August 12, 2022, is a reimagining of the 1992 film with fresh characters and storylines. Set during World War II, it follows the creation of a women’s professional baseball team. Alongside Chant Adams, D’Arcy Carden, Roberta Colindrez, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Kelly McCormack, Molly Ephraim, Melanie Field, and Priscilla Delgado also take on leading roles.
