Philip Baker Hall was best known for his acting roles in Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, and Magnolia. Hall received several nominations for his performances, including an Independent Spirit Awards nomination and two Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations. Hall was also known for his sad puppy eyes, which was one of the reasons why he was cast so much in his career.

Hall also starred in films such as The Truman Show, Lost Souls, and, most recently, Dear Chicken. Hall passed away at the age of 90 years old on June 12th from emphysema. Hall will be missed by the film industry as he had been a big part of it.
