Chelsie Kryst was famously known for being a model, beauty pageant queen, television correspondent, and attorney. Kryst was crowned Miss USA in 2019 and went on to finish in the top ten of Miss Universe that same year. Kryst became an attorney after law school and practiced complex civil litigation.

She eventually worked as a television correspondent on Extra and was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards. Sadly, Kryst jumped to her death from her New York apartment on January 30th. Kryst had been dealing with depression her whole life, which led to her taking her own life. She was only 30 years old.
