Tony Dow was best known for his role as Wally Cleaver in the hit television series Leave It to Beaver, which ran on the air from 1957 to 1963. Dow went on to star in several television shows throughout his career and even worked as a director, producer, and writer.

Dow even reprised his role as Wally Cleaver in The New Leave It to Beaver and the show’s television film. Dow was diagnosed with liver cancer at the beginning of 2022 and sadly passed away on July 26th at the age of 77 years old. He is just another television legend that is gone.
