Peter Bogdanovich was another Hollywood legend that was known for being an exceptional film director and screenwriter. His most notable work is in the film The Last Picture Show, which ended up receiving eight Academy Award nominations which included Best Director and Best Picture.

Although Bogdanovich had a rough couple of years as a director, he is considered one of the pioneers of New Hollywood and will be missed as he sadly passed away at the age of 82 years old. Bogdanovich passed away on January 6th from the intricacies of Parkison’s Disease, which he had been dealing with for years.
