Kristi Capel was raised in Missouri, and she played volleyball in high school. Her skills enabled her to secure a volleyball scholarship where she earned a degree in Broadcasting and Public Relations. Capel participated in several beauty pageants after graduating from college, and she won the Miss Missouri USA title in 2005.

She has since worked as a weather broadcast journalist and anchor for several networks and channels but she’s best known for her work at Fox 8 News, for which she earned an Emmy Award. Not only will Kristi keep you hooked with her looks, but she adds some comedy to her forecast as well.
