Sonya Hill’s childhood and upbringing were quite adventurous; she was born in Texas’ Corpus Christi neighborhood and then raised between places like Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and Orange Grove, TX. Her most recent role is on Action 10 News in her hometown, where she anchors the news.

Sonya was more interested in beauty pageants than news broadcasts at first; she competed in an international bikini contest with participants from different parts of the world, and she emerged in the top 10. She’s also done some ambassadorship and worked with KRIS communications.
