Lissette Gonzalez is one of the most well-known weather girls in Miami; she was awarded the Best Meteorologist in Miami title by the Miami New Times in 2013. She’s made Miami proud a couple of other times as well, like when she won the Miss Florida and Miss Miami beauty pageants.

As if that wasn’t enough, she was also the second runner-up at the Miss America pageant, and her triumphs inspired several young women to chase similar paths. To add to all that, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
