Jennifer Delgado is best known for being the Weather Channel’s weather girl for years, and she’s also known for making several headlines throughout her career. Her unguided utterances at times have made her a particularly controversial journalist.
She once claimed Haitian children were eating deforested trees, causing 20,000 people to sign a petition to get her fired. She would eventually have the sympathy of the public after a bout with blood cancer that she survived with the aid of blood transfusions and quality treatment.
