These dolls were rock n’ roll-inspired Barbie dolls that became popular during the mid-1980s. Jem and the Holograms Dolls were trying to get on the same level as Barbie but didn’t last as long as they wanted to.

Since they were only produced for a couple of years, they have become quite rare and are worth a small fortune. If you have an original first edition doll from 1985 it can fetch you around $700 in mint condition. You won’t be getting any Barbie money, but it is still a good amount.
