Teddy bears aren’t just toys for kids to snuggle, apparently. Steiff bears, in particular, are rare and highly collectible. These limited-edition bears can be sold for staggering amounts — a Steiff bear decked out in Louis Vuitton reportedly sold at a charity auction for $182,550.

I want to apologize to those in advance who probably loved their little Steiff bears a bit too much. That’s because all of that wear and tear undoubtedly would lead to a decrease in overall value over the years. They were awfully cute, though.
