Vintage Game Cartridges ($660,000)
I have a very true and very sad story for you. When I was a kid, I had an Atari 2600 that my grandma gave me. My mom took it upon herself to sell it at a yard sale — tons of games included — for $5 to a kid from down the street, who soon moved away to another state.
While Atari games might hold a lot of nostalgia for you, they don’t hold the most value. Recently a perfectly sealed 1986 Super Mario Bros cartridge was sold at auction for $600,000. We get the value, but the big question is how do you not open and play one of the greatest video games ever?
