Although these tin lunchboxes were originally just a way for kids to carry their lunch to school, they’ve turned into invaluable collector’s items. What if I told you that metal lunchboxes from the 50s and 60s featuring popular characters have sold for thousands of dollars? I’ll bet no one ever expected that when they purchased their kids a Superman lunchbox.
Just be careful. There have been newer versions put back into production in recent years, so something that looks vintage might not actually be worth more than a few dollars.
