Barrymore transitioned from child star to adult actress, starring in a variety of films throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including romantic comedies like “The Wedding Singer” (1998) and “Never Been Kissed” (1999). In the 2000s, she founded her production company, Flower Films, which produced popular movies such as “Never Been Kissed” and “Charlie’s Angels” (2000). She later made her directorial debut with the film “Whip It” (2009).
