Carole Cook is famously known for being one of the top musical actresses of her time and was a prominent figure in both music and film. Cook trained with Lucille Ball, who taught her everything she needed to know about Broadway musicals. Cook went on to star in several Broadway musicals, including 42nd Street and Hello, Dolly!

Cook went on to pursue an acting career and starred in films such as Palm Springs Weekend and Sixteen Candles. Cook is now 98 years old and hasn’t done much in the past couple of years, but her most recent work is in the film Waiting in the Wings: Still Waiting.
