The Seven Mile Bridge, which is located in the Florida Keys, was considered to be the longest bridge when it was first constructed. These long bridges connect Knight’s Keys to Little Duck Keys and were just what the Florida Keys needed to connect all the islands together.

The residents of the Florida Keys praised these bridges as they saved them money and time as they had to travel by boat to get everywhere. These bridges might not look too scary to cross over, but it can be pretty traumatic if you are stranded on one of the bridges when a storm hits.
