Mike Vitar is best known for his role as Benjamin Franklin “Benny the Jet” Rodriguez from the famous 1990s film The Sandlot. Vitar starred in a number of 1990s kids’ movies, such as D2: The Mighty Ducks, D3: The Mighty Ducks, and Sunset Grill.

Although Vitar had a successful acting career as a teenager, he decided that acting wasn’t for him once he got older, with his last film being The Sandlot 2. Vitar went on to become a firefighter for Los Angeles in 2002 and has been one ever since. He still looks back on his acting career and doesn’t regret it at all.
