The site allows you to post items for sale, services you want to provide, notices for lost or stolen pets, or you can simply post up a ‘wanted’ ad asking for a particular item or service. You can post ads and services on just about anything, which means that the site is a gold mine for finding weird and wacky stuff.

Not only is the ad hilarious to read, but even the photo is a laugh. According to the seller, this giant ‘mustache’ banana is ‘fruity fun for your kids’ and makes for great company when you are feeling lonely. The banana is life size, sporting its own mustache that makes the banana looks slightly shifty. The banana is being sold for the bargain price of $30, but don’t have too high expectations – the seller warns no actual fruit is included.

Weird Bronze face sculpture
For $225, you can get your hands on these two weird bronze sculptured masks. Just by looking at the photos, you can see that the sculptures have unsettling feel to them, with their expressions looking dead and lifeless. It is not indicated on the ad as to whether the sculptures have been handcrafted by the seller, but they certainly do not like your normal everyday sculptures you see in the thrift store. This will be the perfect investment if you want something around the house to creep out any guests you have around.

Used hearing aids
Selling some hearing aids on Craigslist sounds acceptable enough, but if you search for second hand items it will come up with these used Rionet Anolog hearing aids. According to the seller, with a quick clean and some new batteries these hearing aids will work just as well as a brand new one. The photos for this item are extremely blurry, which doesn’t help convince people that they’re still good quality, but nevertheless this item is being sold for a $175, so maybe it’s worth the investment if you need hearing aids but can’t afford them.

Seance
With the tag line ‘Nothing to do tonight? Come talk to the dead’, this service is by far the most insane service being advertised on Craigslist. The ad was posted by ghost hunters Bryan and Baxter, who are offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend a seance and contact some spirits. The photos contained in the ad resemble that of a satanic ritual and certainly looks shifty, but for the bargain price of $42, to take part in a seance and also have dinner, who could ever ask for more?

Signed Elvis Presley autograph
It isn’t everyday that you can purchase an autograph from the King of Rock and Roll himself for the cheap price of $444. According to the seller, the photo was signed in 1961, originally framed and has been kept in good condition ever since. The photo can also be shipped out, meaning you won’t have to make the trek around Denver just to get yourself this once in a life time rarity.

Taxidermy Quail Lamp
What better way to show your appreciation for animals then having this crazy quail lamp in your house. The lamp contains a mounted quail encrusted in a glass display above a lamp, and is certainly beautiful on the eye. According to the ad, such lamps are usually sold for $1,360, but the seller has decided to make this insanely unique lamp even more insane, by selling it for an even $1000.

Marilyn Monroe itch doll
Now this would be perfectly acceptable to sell on Craigslist, had it not positioned the dolls in such a freakish way and if the doll had actually looked like Marilyn herself. Like the bronze sculptures also included in this list, the doll looks lifeless and downright creepy. Not much information has been provided by the seller, apart from that the doll is a collector’s item and is still in good condition.

Life size Elsa doll
The final doll included on this list, the seller has decided to put this up on Craigslist due to her daughter never ‘taking to’ the doll. We can’t blame her daughter, since the doll looks nothing like Elsa, and almost looks like the type of doll you would see in a horror movie. The doll is most likely some knock off Frozen merchandise, as the doll looks far from kid friendly and looks badly made. The doll is on sale for $45, and more photos of this monstrosity can be received upon request.

Now this is classy. Why potty train like a child when you get all intellectual with fine wooden craftsmanship and a built in book rack? Because, you know, children are reading some serious novels these days while in the can.
