The Siberian Husky is a medium size breed originating from Northeast Asia that looks more like an arctic wolf than a common household pet. Siberian Huskies are an active breed—they make great sled dogs—with tons of energy and who thrive in extremely cold and harsh environments.
The Siberian Husky made its way to the United States via a Russian fur trader named William Goosak who brought them to Nome, Alaska during the Nome Gold Rush in the early 20th century.
