LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – MARCH 13: An aerial view shows a landslide which destroyed one home and damaged two others in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood on March 13, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. A Closer Look At The Fissure
The pool deck cracking can be seen from above. The size of the cracks are downplayed given the distance the photo was taken from. It’s clear that they are large enough that someone could have fallen into them.
Pool Deck Broken Off Into The Landslide
In this photo you can clearly see a large portion of the upper home’s pool deck broke off and now sits on the edge of the fissure. If you look closely you can see patio chairs and either a table or firepit still on top of the pool deck piece that broke off.
Another View Of The Patio Furniture
Another view of the broken off section of the pool deck with the patio furniture still on it. The tennis court looks like it narrowly escaped any damage, for now.
