Clean Your Iron
Irons can get quite dirty over time as they tend to collect a lot of dirt which ends up turning into rust. If you are starting to notice that your iron is a bit dirty, then you should try this aluminum foil trick that will extend the life of your iron.
Simply make a small ball out of a sheet of aluminum foil and use it to scrub away the rust and dirt from the bottom of the iron. Doing this every month will prevent anything from building up and make your iron look like it is brand new.
