New Kitchen Design Concept Unveiled In Toronto

When most people think of kitchen design, creativity probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. However, all that stands to change thanks to designer, Tom Dixon’s new design concept called ICE Kitchen.  The project was inspired by “Canada’s frozen rivers and lakes,” and Dixon has taken a very interesting approach to coming up with a unique series of tables and stools. The shape of the pieces “are meant to recall the jagged pieces of ice left over by icebreakers that slice through the frozen surface.” Dixon teamed up with Caesarstone to help bring his project to life, and used the best materials to create a smooth and appealing modern look.

The ICE concept will be followed by three other projects inspired by the elements – all set to be released at some point this year. According to Dixon, “Where the contemporary kitchen seeks to hide the activities behind a series of minimal blocks, here we expose the chopping, the steaming, the freezing, the scouring and the disposal of waste in all its active glory.” Dixon’s ICE concept was recently unveiled in Toronto, and as Dixon’s element designs continue to be released, they may change the kitchen design game. With a set up like this in your home, your kitchen will easily become the most talked about room in the house. If you love spending time in your kitchen, this beautiful concept will certainly catch your eye. Take a look at these photos of Tom Dixon’s ICE kitchen.
