For most kids, having a treehouse is a dream come true. There’s nothing like being able to have your very own space, and it’s even better when it’s away from the adults. With that in mind, one father, Rob Adams, decided to design the perfect “fairy treehouse” for his young daughter, and to make things even better, he built it in her room. According to Adams, who spend just a little over $4,000 on the project, “My daughter wanted a fairy tree in her room that she could sit inside and read books, climb the branches, and also have a top sitting area. I was kind of un-prepared for the physical realities of this project. I used Disney set-design as my inspiration. Even though it was difficult, I learned a huge amount along the way. It turned out pretty well, and she’s so happy in her new room!”

Adams built the treehouse in approximately 350 hours over the course of 18 months, and even checked with the local fire department to make sure that he wasn’t creating any sort of hazards. Adams was sure to create plenty of space for his daughter to enjoy all of her favorite books, and he even left a special window and door for the fairies to enter through. It goes without saying that this is a special gift that Adams’ daughter will never forget, and her room will probably the best in the neighborhood.  Check out the amazing photos of this cool fairy treehouse.
