Before you dig into some landscape designs, the best piece of advice we can give you is to come up with a budget and sticking to it. If you go over budget on your landscape design, it’s likely that you’ll have some buyer’s remorse and it will take away some from some of the joy you’re going to get out of your backyard sanctuary.
Once you have established your budget, it’s time for the fun part, which is using images to generate some inspiration for your new backyard landscape. You might find elements from multiple landscapes that you love and want to combine to develop your own unique backyard landscape. That could mean combining an outdoor fire pit with a fountain and Koi pond, putting a fire pit with a sitting area inside your in ground pool, or creating an extensive garden with exotic lighting fixtures that dazzles at night.
Or maybe you stumble upon the exact backyard you want and want to replicate it without any personalized touches? Either way, have fun with the process as there’s no right or wrong way to do it.
