If you think museums are boring and stuffy, this location will truly impress you. Opened in 1900, the museum now has several permanent exhibits including Egyptian mummies, gems and minerals, and space odyssey. The museum’s hours are 9AM to 5PM, and general admission is $14.95 for adults and $9.95 for children.

Opened in 1973, the museum has exhibits that cater to children as young as newborns. All the way from science to art, there is a wide focus that can appeal to children with all sorts of interests. With plenty of hands on activities, this children’s museum is all presenting information in a unique and entertaining way. Although this location is primarily geared towards children, it’s also pretty fun for adults. People under one are allowed to enter for free, one-year-olds are $11 and people between 2 and 59 are $13. The museum is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10AM to 4PM; Wednesday 9AM to 7:30OPM; and Saturday and Sunday 10AM to 5PM.

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum

Flying is something that has fascinated people almost since the beginning of time. With that being said if you’ve ever been a plan you’ll probably find the Wings over the Rockies museum to be pretty interesting. The museum was opened in 1994 and sits on the old Lowry Air Force base. Not only does the museum aim to preserve the base’s history, and also educate the public on aircrafts and air travel. Admission is $5 for “youth” and $8 for adult, and the museum’s hours are Monday through Saturday 10AM – 5PM and Sunday 12PM – 5PM.
