With a population of more than 1 million people, it goes without saying that the city is full of life, and there’s always something interesting going on. Whether you like to eat, explore, listen to music, or experience art – San Antonio has plenty of cool things to offer you. After all, the Alamo City is full of rich history, and it’s easy to see why people would be drawn to the area. Although there are plenty of cities in Texas to choose from. Visit the Alamo

As the site of one of the most famous battle in United States history, the Alamo Mission still stands proud for countless viewers to see and visit each year. The Alamo Mission was founded in the 1700s and was used as a place to convert local Native Americans to Christianity. Even if you don’t consider yourself a history buff, there’s no denying that a trip to the Alamo will be well worth it.

Enjoy nature at the Japanese Tea Gardens

One of the best things about San Antonio is that finding fun things to do is never difficult because the city offers such a wide variety of activities and places to go. With that being said, there’s nothing like enjoying the beauty of nature, and one of the best places to do that in San Antonio is the Japanese Tea Gardens. The location has been open for more than 100 years, and is home to a very incredible arrangement of plants and flowers.

Spend a day at Morgan’s Wonderland

Nothing says fun like an amusement park, and in San Antonio, Morgan’s Wonderland is the place to be. However, this isn’t just your average amusement park. Located on 25 acres of land, Morgan’s Wonderland is an amusement park created for children and adults with special needs. The park is all about making sure that everyone feels included,and it features an approach that is similar to a sensory garden. However, while the park was built and designed for those with special needs, it’s open to anyone who wants to have fun. According to the park’s CEO, “Morgan’s Wonderland is a special place where anyone can have fun, but it was created with special-needs individuals in mind. Morgan’s Wonderland is just like any other theme park except for the added benefit of a culture and environment that assures 100 percent enjoyment by everyone who enters through our Welcome Center. Unfortunately, countless children and adults with special needs do not have access to facilities that can help them fully enjoy outdoor recreation. We truly hope Morgan’s Wonderland will begin to change that.”

Enjoy the arts

If you’re looking to mix fun and sophistication, San Antonio has exactly what you need. While the city may not be one of the first that comes to mind when you think of enjoying the arts, San Antonio has a lot to offer in this area. From paintings to performing arts, there’s somewhere for you. Some of the best places for art in the city are the San Antonio Museum of Art, Artpace, and Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum,

One of the best things about living in any big city is being able to support the local sports teams, and San Antonio is no different. San Antonio is home to several professional teams including the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs who are regularly one of the most competitive teams in the league. Enjoy a good meal

It should probably go without saying that one of the most fun things to do in San Antonio is eat. With the whole state of Texas being known for its delicious southwestern cuisine, San Antonio has certainly become part of that reputation. Visit Ripley’s Believe it Or Not

Ripley’s Believe it or Not is easily one of the most fun things to do in San Antonio. With a knack for showcasing things that seem too bizarre to be true, Ripleys has earned a reputation for shocking its guests, and it’s one of those places that you can go to multiple times and find something new to look at every single time.

Visit the zoo

Located on more than 35 acres of land, the San Antonio Zoo is full of beautiful uncommon animals that will definitely have you taking a second look. With exhibits such as Cat Grotto and Cranes of the World, the zoo has something to offer everyone. No matter how long you plan on spending in San Antonio making it to the zoo at least once should be high on your priority list.
