Who says an adult can’t have a kid’s playground in their lives? Just ask the owners of this playful and modern apartment in Kharkov, Ukraine. Defined by the owners as “calm and sweet” this unit features some interesting details. Rather than just go with a conventional look the owners asked the creative team at Ki Design to create a “wow” effect in the 2,282-square-foot home. They wanted something that guest would “fall in love” with and we think that the team delivered, and then some.
Clearly what separates this apartment from any other is the slide that links the two levels. Other eye-catching details include a living wall, a hammock and a reading nook with a long wooden bench. On the first level you’ll see the living room, kitchen, and dining areas. There’s also room for a potential child. While on the upstairs we see the master bedroom, guest bedroom, private bath, and office space.
“Since the apartment is located on the top floor, it has many skylights that provide natural light,” the designers said. “By increasing the number and height of the vertical window openings, we made the living space more spacious and bright.”
