Houses come in a wide variety of styles and designs. This certainly isn’t anything new. But if there’s one thing that most houses do have in common its shape. Most –if not all– of the houses you’ve seen probably had a square or rectangular shape. However, this house in Melbourne takes a completely different approach by featuring a triangular-shape. Aptly named Acute House, the home was designed by OOF Architecture! and was a project aimed at transforming “a rundown Victorian weatherboard cottage.” Designers were able to use many of the home’s original materials while also incorporating new items. Since the home takes up all of the space on the property, designers created indoor space to enjoy sports and other activities. With a unique design both inside and out, the Acute House is definitely one of a kind.
Before the project began, and old Victorian clapboard house stood on the property.
The new design features a unique and modern look that is certainly unlike anything else in the neighborhood.
This cool minimalist bedroom has a simple and stylish design that is comfortable and spacious.
Built-in shelving is always a plus. Not only can it add something special to the design of a room, but it also provides some extra storage space to help keep things organized and neat.
A wood burning fireplace is the perfect addition to this sleek black kitchen.
Due to the home’s unique shape, the interior spaces are also shaped non-traditionally. This bathroom is a prime example with its corner glass-enclosed shower.
